short but sweet

so here's the thing, this is gonna be short but I just felt the need to share.

Talking to God this morning and thinking about things this is what He said:

"When you pray before exams you always pray that your grade will reflect how hard you've studied and how knowledgeable you are about the information. In the same way pray that your actions in your life will reflect how hard you've studied My word and how much you know Me."

Dude the Lord was so telling me that I need to be in the word more. Because that's what I pray before exams, that my brain won't go blank and that my grades will reflect how I've studied; if you don't study and pray for good grades, it probably isn't going to happen because you don't even know the material. I can't just pray for my actions to be good I need to learn what good actions are through the word and then pray that God will use what I learn in my life.

I don't know if you've ever heard God but he's been speaking to me a lot lately and it's not audible but I totally believe it's Him and it's freakin sweet. The Maker of the universe is so big that He's everywhere but yet so intimate that He listens to my cries.
